FOR TEACHERS...
	The UC Davis COSMOS Program offers high achieving high school students the opportunity to explore advanced topics in math and science in a university setting. COSMOS participants attend courses taught by UC Davis professors and live in university dormitories during the four-week program. In addition to attending classes, participants conduct lab experiments and go on field trips to relate what they learn in the classroom to the world we live in. Students are required to select a final project to complete the program and are expected to conduct an oral presentation of their findings. TEACHER FELLOW APPLICATION	TESTIMONIAL	My time spent teaching with COSMOS during the summer of 2003 was extremely productive. It was a pleasure getting to know the students and working with them. I was able to adapt a number of the labs to my own classroom. I am still in contact with the two professors who taught the class. COSMOS also introduced me to other UCD faculty and resources that have been of considerable help to me in the classroom. The many field trips were wonderful experiences, a great way to make learning fun!
COSMOS is seeking outstanding high school teachers for the Teacher Fellows program! Teacher Fellows consult with university colleagues on course design and serve as a liaison between students and faculty during the four week program.
