The COSMOS Program offers high achieving high
school students the opportunity to explore advanced
topics in math and science in a university setting.
COSMOS participants attend courses taught by UC
Davis professors and live in university dormitories
during the four-week program. In addition to attending
classes, participants conduct lab experiments and
go on field trips to relate what they learn in
the classroom to the world we live in. Students
are required to select a final project to complete
the program and are expected to conduct an oral
presentation of their findings.
