FOR PARENTS...
	The UC Davis COSMOS Program offers high achieving high school students the opportunity to explore advanced topics in math and science in a university setting. COSMOS participants attend courses taught by UC Davis professors and live in university dormitories during the four-week program. In addition to attending classes, participants conduct lab experiments and go on field trips to relate what they learn in the classroom to the world we live in. Students are required to select a final project to complete the program and are expected to conduct an oral presentation of their findings. If you plan to pick up your student at any time while he/she is attending COSMOS at UC Davis, you will need to complete an online form at least 24 hours in advance of the departure. Students will not be allowed to leave campus without this form being completed by a parent/guardian. Parent/guardian will be required to sign the form and present a photo ID upon pick up. 2007 Short Term Departure Form
